Seven friends share a bond spanning over thirty years, dating back to their school days in Cairo’s famous Zamalek district. No matter how life’s circumstances have separated them, they have never missed their annual New Year’s Eve gathering at an apartment in the iconic Le Bâtonnier (Libon) building, overlooking the eternal Nile. New Year’s Eve 2010, however, takes a different turn when they decide to play a game offering a grand prize to the winner.
