This is a book on language and rare/unusual poetry vocabulary in particular. It explains some of the unclear words that appeared in poetry. In it, the author presents an entry that may range between one or two verses (of poetry), sometimes mentioning their authors, the context, and the story behind them, the meaning of the rare words, and includes supporting evidence (Shawahid) from classical Arabic speech for his interpretation. The commentator has provided biographies (translations) of the prominent figures (A'lam) at the end of the book.
