Book of Misers', (Scrooges), by the Arabic writer of prose and other works of literature, al-Jahiz (Abu Uthman Amr ibn Bahr al-Kinani al-Basr, 159/776 - 255/868 or 869). This books contains anecdotes about greedy people, satorical and humorous, with lessons to learn on generosity. This famous work of al-Jahiz is considered among his best.
