About the Author

Dr. Rabi' bin Hadi bin Muhammad bin Umayr al-Madkhali – former Graduate Studies Professor and Department Head at the Islamic University of al-Madinah was born in 1351 H/1933 CE, in the village of al-Jar'diyyah, approximately three kilometers west of Samitah, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is from the students of Abd al-Aziz bin Baz, Muhammad Nasr ad-Din al-Albani, Abd al-Muhsin al-Abbad, Muhammad Amin al-Shanqiti, and many others. He has authored over thirty books, ranging in size and genre. The most famous of these writings is «The Methodology of The Prophets in Calling to Allah». The scholarly praise and recommendation of Dr. Rabi' is well known and documented. He currently resides in the city of Madinah where he spends his time teaching, writing, issuing religious verdicts, and advising Muslims throughout the world.
