Poetry on the various religious sciences: Tawhid/Monotheism, Aqeeda/Creed, Tasawaf/Sufism, Suluk /Ethics, Fiqh/Jurisprudence, Nahu/Language, from the Senegalese Scholar Ahmadu Bamba, Shaykh Khadi, Ahmadou Bamba (1270/1853 - 1346/1927) was a Sufi Wali and religious leader in Senegal who wrote tracts and poems on various religious matters. He was the founder of the 'Muridiyya' in Touba, Senegal. He was outspoken against the colonial rule of France and represented non-violent resistance.
