On the Islamic roots of social sciences, by Egyptian Islamic thinker Muhammad Qutb, (1919 - 2014). The author looks at Islamic sociology and its pillars, such as the divine Sunnah, which governs human life, the constants and variables in human life, the status of the family in the social structure, the mutual relationship between the individual and the society, and the Islamic root of social sciences.
