The famous love poetry of Imra' al-Qais bin Hujr al-Kindi (6th century CE, No. Arabia). Imra' al-Qais is the most distinguished pre-Islamic poet, known for his long qaseeda (along with the tradition of crying over odes recitation around the campfire). Author of one of the seven odes in the famous pre-Islamic poetry collection of al-Mu'allaqat. Commentary of Dr. Emil Badi' Ya'Kub.
