'The Deported'. A historical novel in the Arabic by Jordanian author M.I. Quandour. This story is based on the mass Circassian genocide and deportations from Russia between 1864 - 1867. This ethnic cleansing from their homeland followed the Russo-Circassian War in the last quarter of the 19th century. Included are some black and white photos and illustrations.
