'The Power Struggle in Lebanon: Private and Public Debate' by Zahwa Majdhub. The author focuses on the 1975-1976 period in Lebanon and on two primary issues : 1) the Islamic-Christian dialogue on the concept of sovereignty, and 2) the subject of political reform. The sides were in conflict in their dialogue, leading to the absolute estrangement between the parties. Sectarian violence broke out. The issues can still be seen in today's Lebanon.
