Sheikh Muqbil’s work is characterized by academic candor and meticulous chain-of-narration (Isnad) verification. He does not merely relay theoretical rules but links them to practical application in the critique of narrators and hidden defects (Ilal). The book serves as an important reference for those wishing to explore Sheikh Muqbil’s specific jurisprudential and Hadith preferences. It differs from Ahmad Shakir's al-Ba'ith al-Hathith in its tendency toward brevity and its focus on the unique Hadith insights and investigations that defined the Sheikh’s school in Yemen.
