«Deaf Music», A novel in the Arabic language by Emirati writer Mona Abd al-Qader al-Ali. Summary: Mira was a normal girl until she had an accident that made her different - one of her senses was lost, so she is no longer able to read, or even locate things. Mira did not give up, she pushed negative thoughts our of her mind, and created her own world, and sang her own song - a single deaf song...showing that in weakness there is strength, and in some differences there it distinction.
