Lost Blood

An Eyewitness Account of the Sabra and Shatila Massacre - by Marco Abraham. «This book will haunt you. It will change the way you view your world.»

This is the only book written by an eyewitness survivor of the 1982 Sabra and Shatila Massacre in Lebanon. It is a story of survival, love and abiding faith.

Marco Abraham was 18 years old when he lived through the massacre. He realized he was witnessing a horrific chapter in the history of the Middle East and vowed to tell his story. Shortly after leaving Shatila camp, following the massacre, he wrote down his memories of this time so never to forget.

Marco Abraham's story is one you won't forget. He writes in a raw and poignant t\style that takes you along with him. You see through his eyes as he watches the massacre on the street below from a hand-cut slit in his rooftop hiding place. You know that what sustains him is his love for Rola, the girl with whom he's shared his dreams and plans to share the rest of his life.
