Suddenly, while immersed in weeping over his own stricken soul, he realized that he could see! That he could perceive his surroundings—not as they had appeared to his imagination, but as they truly were. He beheld a strange, vast, and luminous space—boundless, devoid of detail, and without any dividing lines. He looked up hurriedly, attempting to catch a glimpse of the sky and discern the horizon.
