By Moroccan writer Tahar Ben Jelloun (b. 1944), 'Terrorism as we explain it to our children'. translated from the French. In this dialogue with his daughter, Ben Jelloun tries to answer many questions that come to mind when there is an act of terrorism. He reviews the history of the word 'terrorism' since the bloody events in the French Revolution up through the current acts committed in the name of religion. A relatively easy read with deep insight.
