The novel "Ordinary People," translated by Mustafa Benami, addresses the theme of human relationships within the family and, more broadly, within society. It demonstrates the importance of love and its ability to heal the soul and give individuals a status in life that they would never have in their absence. It emphasizes the fact that "no one can be completely independent of others," and that there is inevitably someone in this world who has the ability to make us feel like ordinary people and worthy of love. Conversely, the novel sheds light on instances of violence, particularly domestic violence and bullying, and exposes social classism and the impact of false material appearances on human relationships in all their forms.
