Jarir Bookstore is a division of Asala Publication and Distribution, Inc., a California corporation, operating online at jarirbooksusa.com in partnership with Dar al Kitab, established in 1992.

We specialize in classical and contemporary Arabic literature and offer an extensive selection of Arabic children's books, Islamic books, Arabic translations of English works, books written in English, and titles in other languages.

Our carefully curated collections serve readers seeking to deepen their knowledge of Arabic literature, regional history, Islam, and the cultures and histories of the Muslim world—from the dawn of Islam to the modern era. With titles spanning a wide range of subjects and interests, we strive to make knowledge, literature, and cultural heritage accessible to readers of all ages.

Established in 2003, our retail store is located in Southern California and welcomes customers from the local community and beyond. We also maintain a large warehouse stocked with an extensive selection of books from reputable publishers worldwide

In addition to retail and wholesale sales, we supply major universities, public libraries, and other institutions. Our services also extend to literary representation and publishing, reflecting our ongoing commitment to promoting Arabic literature, supporting readers, and connecting communities through books.
