«Restoring Memory», an autobiography by Dr. Hassan Madan (b. 1956), a Bahraini writer and thinker with a PhD in modern and contemporary history. With elegant language and style, the author presents his biography of a life in his homeland and a life in exile, with manifestations of sadness and joy, and realizations, where the writer himself, in recalling memories and his sense of alienation, poses to the reader a question of great importance: «Should things have gone the way the did?»
