The history of minorities in the Arab and Islamic lands. A work by Sa'id Ahmad Abd al-Rahman, Tariq Ahmad Shams, and Yusuf Samif Kayyal. This work is a valuable addition to studies on minorities in Arab countries...it explains and simplifies the concept of minorities, presenting it to the reader in a new way. It shows the history of minorities in the Arab Est, in a broad way, studying three eras and linking them. Studies kinds of minorities (national, ethnic, religious, sectarian...) separately with their histories...highlight roles played by the West in creating problems.
