'Gypsy Bed', a historical novel in the Arabic language by Lebanese writer Nisrin Ballut (b. 1978). The events take place in Andalusia, and are narrated by the poet Lorca. Many famous personalities appear in the pages, including al-Mu'tamid ibn Abbad and his entourage, Imam al-Ghazali, Yusuf bin Tashfin and women of his palace, and even the famous painter Dali. The story projects between two times that combine arbitrariness, injustice, selfishness, and stories of love and conflict.
