Translated to Arabic, «Montauk» (1975), a biographical novel by Swiss playwright and novelist Max Frisch (1911-1991). This work, first published in 1975, is an exceptional and candid narrative of a weekend spent with a young woman in Montauk on the American East coast - a brief love affair. Casting himself as both subject and observer, the weekend is a trigger to cause a reflection on his own life - a portrait that can be bittersweet, painful, humorous - but always affecting.
