The Concept of Freedom, by the Moroccan historian, political theorist, thinker and novelist, Abd Allah Laroui (b. 1933, Abd Allah al-Arawi). Laroui, who writes in both Arabic and French, has written widely on Arab affairs and supports the need to adapt modernity in human values. In this work he looks at paradoxes in the Arab society's renewed call to freedom, and also stresses the need to always renew the call for freedom.
