كتاب الطبيخKitab al-Tabikh

a «Kitab al-Tabikh» is one of the oldest Arabic cookbooks. By Abu Muhammad al-Muzaffar ibn Nasr ibn Sayyar al-Warraq, an Arab author from Baghdad from the Abbasid era.

A Fourth Century compendium cooking and culinary arts plus literature and poetry about plants, herbs and foods plus other beneficial information regarding food and preparation.

Through this book, the author attempts to write the history of food life in a sector of Islamic society in the fourth century AH. The book covers many of the names of utensils and tools used in cooking and cooking, and provides a special index for them, which contributes to enriching knowledge about this field in Islamic heritage.
