This novel is the classic Arabic translation and adaptation of the world-famous 1954 novel "Lord of the Flies" by the Nobel Prize-winning British author William Golding. The novel follows a group of British schoolboys who become stranded on a deserted tropical island after their plane is evacuated during a wartime conflict. With no adults around to guide them, the boys initially attempt to govern themselves and maintain order by electing a leader, establishing rules, and keeping a rescue signal fire lit.
