'Studies in the History of Arab-Islamic Cities', by Dr. Abd al-Jabbar Naji. The present Arab cities are the result of ancient historial eperiences; they are an extension of the ancient Arab cities. The present conditions can only be understood by reference to the Arab heritage in this field. With this vision, Dr. Haji looks at the development and infrastructure of Arab-Islamic cities and their historical roots.
