When we mention «al-Busiri» (608/1213-696/1295), the first thing that comes to mind if «Al-Burdah» the most famous poem in praise for the Prophet, around which many stories were formulated. The reading of al-Burdah can have two positions: the first reading in praise of virtues, and the second more Sufi readings, but both agree on its poetic excellence and the distinction of al-Busiri in his poetry with extensive culture and biography and comparison between religions. The poetry is well-formed, with wonderful images and strong feelings, so regardless of one's position, the poetry will be enjoyed.
محمد بن سعيد بن حماد الصنهاجي البوصيري (608 هـ - 696 هـ / 7 مارس 1213 - 1295) شاعر صنهاجي اشتهر بمدائحه النبوية. أشهر أعماله البردة المسماة «الكواكب الدرية في مدح خير البرية».
