Abd Allah bin Yahya al-Maliki al-Qurtubi al-Andalusi's work is one of the first books on Sacrificial rites / Immolation. This work is divided into two main studies: First Qurtubi covers terminology and the scholars' recommended methods in sacrificing an animal, unlawful animals for consumption, comparative religious studies regarding sacrifice, and finally his rulings and differences among the schools of law in Islamic Sharia.
