«Danish: A boy from a wreck», a novel in the Arabic language by writer Su'ad Rashid al-Kaabi. The author raises the question of childhood from within a fictional text, and wanders on what can be called a panorama of absurdity and chaos that prevails in our contemporary world, whose victims are children who have no fault. Danish is a 12 year old Indian boy who suffered from poverty and deprivation, and circumstances pushed him out of childhood into a world of struggles, injustice, crime, tyrants, and faltering dreams.
