A Genocide Foretold

Pulitzer prize-winning journalists Chris Hedges is one of the preeminent critics of conflict in the Middle East, and more recently, the war on Gaza. After reporting from Ramallah in the summer of 2024, Hedges began to write «A Genocide Foretold» in an effort to document the pain, heroism, and resistance surrounding him. As he recounts the bombs, gunfire, and forced evacuations, Hedges provides an extensive, on-the-ground reportage of the harrowing reality of war-torn Palestine. With invaluable insight into sheer magnitude of destruction inflamed by Netanyahu's violent apartheid policies, Hedges' account weaves together personal stories, historical context, political commentary, and unflinching journalism. «A Genocide Foretold» is a call to action, urging us to bear witness and engage with the ongoing humanitarian crises perpetuated by the systemic violence inherent to the Zionist occupation.
