Translated to Arabic, short essays by Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges (1899- 1986). Borges recalls his first encounter with Dante's work. He read it for the first time on the long tram journeys he had to make for a time from his home to the distant library where he worked, and from then on he would return to it on numerous occasions and in different editions. The wonder and inexhaustible interest that arose in him at that time for this work full of delights, surprises and nightmares are nourished by the NINE DANTESQUE ESSAYS compiled in this volume, in which the respective universes of two of the greatest authors of universal literature are admirably fused.
