This invaluable twelve-volume work compiles everything narrated regarding the Prophet (peace be upon him)—whether in word, deed, or tacit approval—that serves to elucidate the meanings of the Qur’an. It encompasses explicit *marfuʿ* narrations pertaining to exegesis, as well as traditions and reports relevant to specific verses that align with and complement the passage under interpretation. Consequently, it stands as a comprehensive compendium that gathers in a single location the entirety of the Prophet’s contributions to the exegesis of the Qur’an.
