Translated to English «Anda al-Khawta», a short story for children by acclaimed Lebanese author Emily Nasrallah (1931-2018). This colorfully illustrated book tells the story of a curious woman called Anda who lived all alone in a hut at the edge of the village. While at first she is laughed at and mocked by the village children, Anda ends up winning their love through laughter and dance. She spreads a universal message of joy and kindness to those around us.
Anda is a real character that marked the childhood of the author.
