In a 5 volume set, a commentary by the polymath known best for his work as a grammarian, Abi Sayd al-Hassan bin Abdullah al-Marzuban al-Sirafi (280/893 - 368/979) on the early Arabic grammar writings of Sibawayh (d. 180/796 or 797), the influential linguist and grammarian of the Arabic language.
