Critical study and reply to Muhammad Shahrur's book on a contemporary reading of the Qur'an. The author, Ahmed Imran, critiques Shahrur's ideas and theories in the manner of a scholar and the language of a writer, without fanaticism or arrogance. The work is the best response to what was mentioned in Shahrur's book.
