Qadat al-Nabiقادة النبي صلي الله عليه وسلم

The book Qadat al-Nabi (The Leaders of the Prophet) is a highly respected military and historical study written by the prominent Iraqi military general, historian, and scholar Mahmoud Sheet Khattab.
It specifically analyzes the military genius of the Prophet Muhammad and the commanders he appointed.

Mahmoud Sheet Khattab (1919–1998) was uniquely qualified to write this. He was a trained general in the Iraqi army, graduated from military colleges in both Iraq and Britain, and served as an Iraqi Minister of Defense. He dedicated the latter half of his life to rewriting early Islamic history using precise, modern military terminology to clear up historical misconceptions.
