Towards a new renaissance of the left in the Arab world: with selected texts of Marx, Engels, Lenin, Plekhanov, Rosa Luxemburg and Gramsci. The author of this work, Lebanese Marxist political thinker Karim Maruwah, discusses the decline of the left in recent decades after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the socialist experiment. He proposes a set of ideas he deems necessary for the left to exit from the current crises - a 'New Left'.
