This book discusses the issue of women's leadership in public affairs, relying on texts from the Quran and Sunnah, and drawing on interpretations from esteemed scholars of Islamic jurisprudence whose rulings are considered authoritative and whose interpretations are almost equivalent to legislative texts, or from their followers whose adherence to the Quran and Sunnah is unquestionable.
