La Barid 'Ila Ghazaلا بريد إلى غزة

Jalal Matar—a young man from Gaza—earns his living, much like his father, by digging graves, yet he harbors a deep passion for the sport of parkour. Step by step, we traverse the milestones of his life—a journey fraught with both dreams and disappointments. With a bold narrative style, the novel poses difficult questions regarding the complex reality of life in the Gaza Strip; we read of people’s joys and sorrows, their love stories and their truncated hopes, and we come face-to-face with the brutality and terror of daily existence within the Strip. Muhammad Jabaiti is a Palestinian novelist.
