«Juha and Crew: Folk Stories from the East». In these popular tales it is not uncommon for amusing folks to decide the fate of others, or for animals to philosophize...and life is sometimes so surprising that a poor man becomes a powerful man's best friend. Juha, the main character of these many adventures, is a reflection of this confusing world. By turns courageous and cowardly, cunning and naive...these tales offer young readers, in a fluid and accessible language, the legacy of a wisdom that remains current.
