'Salamander' Stories from Eastern Folklore, adapted to Arabic for the pre-teen ages by Nabiha Mahidli. With exquisitely detailed color illustrations. In the story, Samandar misses the sun. Then in the night, the bats come and carry Samandar to the mountaintop so he can watch the sunrise the next day. A story of living in the night and the day.
