«Bestimmt wird alles gut» (I'm sure everything will be fine), a dual language true story in Arabic and German for kids. Rahaf and Hassan used to live in the Syrian city of Homs and had a great time. But then the planes came more and more often and you had to be afraid all the time. So the parents decided to go to another country. How they traveled to Italy via Egypt in a ship that was much too small and from there on to Germany – Kirsten Boie let Rahaf and Hassan tell her all this and continues to tell us about it. Also from a scolding woman on the train and a friendly conductor. And about Emma, who becomes Rahaf's girlfriend at the new school.
This touching story is published in two languages so that many refugee children can read it in their own language. A small phrasebook in the appendix also helps with learning German and Arabic. Jan Birck's pictures accompany the short text in an impressive and warm-hearted way.
