It recounts the story of Al-Attar’s nine-month imprisonment in 1936—spent first in the Al-Furn prison in Makkah and subsequently in the Al-Masmak prison in Riyadh—following an act of denunciation. Once Al-Attar was proven innocent of the charge brought against him—namely, writing against the Kingdom in Egyptian newspapers at the time—King Abdulaziz Al Saud ordered his release and extended his esteem toward him.
ثم في سجن المصمك في الرياض بسبب وشاية. وحين ثبتت براءة (العطار) من التهمة المنسوبة إليه، وهي الكتابة ضد المملكة في الصحف المصرية – آنذاك – أمر الملك عبدالعزيز آل سعود بإطلاق سراحه وتقديره.
