Arabiyah fi Iran: al-Iraniyun kama lam Na'rifhumعربية في إيران الإيرانيون كما لم نعرفهم

«An Arab in Iran: Iranians as We Never Knew Them» by Syrian writer and film critic Nada Al-Azhari.

In the countless writings about Iran, Iranians are absent.
Those who are not politicians, movie stars, dissidents, or famous activists.
Those you meet on the street, in a store, or in a taxi...
These are precisely those we know nothing about.
How do they act and think? What are they afraid of? What do they love? And how do they show it?
These experiences, observations, and memories are recounted by the author during her travels and four years of residence in Tehran.

They are Iranians as we have never known them before: with their looks and their screams.
