«The Unfinished Works of Kevork Kassaryan», a novel in the Arabic language by Lebanese writer, researcher, and multimedia artist, Fadi Tawfiq (b. 1975). On the first Thursday of 1981, a large shell will accidentally hit Kevork's house, causing a fire that will devour its entire contents. Inside his charred house, which he came to check out a few days later, Kevork will realize that now he's lost everything...There, while Kevork was standing in the charred rubble of his house, the idea of a new beginning would strike him again. This story is told in an unusual narrative style that presents ideas and theories, and seems almost as incompleted text, wending toward a conclusion.
