In Arabic, a historical novel by the Algerian novelist Hajir Quwaydiri (Hajir Quaidri). This novel is divided into several narratives, each telling part of the story of the famous Algerian corsair, Raïs Hamidou (1773 - 1815). The seven narrators have a range of nationalities and ethnicities, and the stories sometimes diverge and sometimes intersect, providing a mosaic of the Mediterranean Sea and Algeria at the time.
