'A Piece of Bread', a children's story in Arabic. Large clear print vocalized Arabic, full page illustrations, and a story the child can relate to make this an ideal medium level reading book for 2nd - 3rd grade. A poor and hungry man is arrested for stealing a piece of bread...in court the judge issues an unexpected verdict. This nice story shows the effect of poverty and how empathy and charity can help.
