Translated to Arabic «Luna Caliente», a novel by Argentine novelist, journalist, and academic, Mempo Giardinelli (1947-). First published in 1983, it is a story of obsession, sex and crimes set in Argentina in 1977, with the backdrop of the military dictatorship where anti-subversive struggle and torture are the order of the day. A work of forceful and passionate prose with overtones of a noir novel. Translated to Arabic by Khalid al-Jubaili.
