«We came out of a mountain side», a novella by Emirati writer Lulwah al-Mansuri, winner of the Emirates Prize for Fiction in the novella category. The narration is filled with symbolism in the magic style of legends, originally based on the myths from the mountain «Jabal Jais», the highest peak in the spectacular Hajar mountain range.
