In his book 'Gabriel and the Prophet', Iraqi writer Fadil Rubay'i opens the door to a scientific debate about the credibility of some Islamic perceptions. He argues that some interpretations of the text of the Qur'an, including the verse that talks about the angel turned to mortal man, are arbitrary. A book worth a calm and scientific debate.
