«Homs...When it was complete» by Nada al-Dandashi. The author writes about her city in Syria. The book is divided into six chapters that address the history of architecture in Homs, including the old city of Homs, its walls and inns, its old baths, its traditional houses, its streets, alleys, and cafes. It also sheds light on its religious buildings, such as shrines, mosques, and churches, as well as its traditional industries and trade. The book concludes with an appendix.
