'Civil War Stories', 14 short stories in the Arabic language by Syrian writer Ahmad Umar. In this collection, the author uses irony as a way to simulate reality and look at its contradictions, blending the smile with tears, and weaving the stories as simple but loaded with bitterness that reaches the point of humiliation, not free of bashing, shock and sometimes self-effacement.
